Yesterday:

Just a light dusting of snow–grass peeking through.

Same view–way more snow!  Snow is a big event in the Pacific Northwest!  There are about 5 inches (12.7 cm) of snow so far.

Don’t forget to come back on Saturday.  Even if I’m snowed in, I’ll grab a cup of hot tea and post my Bead Soup Party designs and we can all enjoy a fantastic blog hop to see what others have created too!  See you then!

Monday Meanderings: Let It Snow!

{Monday Meanderings: Musings & Observations From Beyond the Bead Studio}

We don’t get a lot of snow in the Pacific Northwest (at least not west of the Cascade Mountains).  So when it does start falling, we get all excited! School is often delayed.  Children stare out the classroom windows, longing for escape.   Driving becomes dangerous, because people here are unaccustomed to driving in the snow.  There are usually lots of fender-benders.  But I am  retired now and I no longer have to venture forth unless I want to.  So I stayed home today and took some photos to share with you.  I hope you enjoy them.
