Pine Cones
Its time for another ♥ I Heart Macro Sunday! ♥
I had these pine cones on display for Christmas. I love their spiraling patterns and wanted to share them with you, for your Macro Sunday enjoyment. And now that I’ve shared them, I can pack them away until next year.

Linda – your close-up shots are awesome…I can’t quite figure out how to get closer to my subject without blurring the image – Of course, I don’t have a macro lens, but still. Love your shots
Stunning Linda, I love pinecones and you got some beautiful shots!! I was hoping to get out in the snow yesterday and macro but we were gone a good part of the day and it was completely dark when we returned. Can’t wait for the light today!
Great pinecone photos! The tree at my folks’ house had a pine tree we planted from a dixie cup I brought home from school one year. It grew to be a “zillion” feet tall. My sister lives in the house now. We never run out of pinecones! I’m sure I should be selling those rather than trying to sell jewelry! We’ve surely gotten rid of thousands of dollars of pinecones over the years, but each time I go over, I have to pick up a few, admire them, and bring them home with me! (If you run out, I know a good supplier!) 🙂
Pine cones are so beautiful and you sure captured that with these photos! Wonderful, Linda!
Fantastic close up shots of this pine cone! I love all the angle that you had. They are amazing!
Beautiful photos featuring one of natures fantastic creations. Love it!
