“This bud’s for you!” No, not that bud–flower buds! (sorry!) Its that strange time of year when hints of spring are everywhere, but where we get snow, hail, rain and even sunshine all in one day.

Lovely macros. The cherry tree buds remind me of the cherry tree we had in our back yard in the small town in Illinois where I grew up. Beautiful!!
Beautiful photos, Linda! I sure hope you photograph the rhododendron when it’s in bloom. Am thinking I’m really going to miss those beauties this Spring! As always, I enjoy your posts 🙂
Very nice photos.
Regards and best wishes
Your shots look as if they could have been taken in my front yard. I too have forsythia cherry buds ready to erupt into life.
Beautiful, hopeful shots of Spring readying to open up and descend.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Cheers,
Leah
Beautiful buds!
HA! This bud’s for you. . ..funny!
I’ve got buds all over my yard and am loving the anticipation before each of them bloom. Spring is awesome!
What a great idea for a post. I’m so glad Spring is here. In Atlanta it was 75 degrees today.
I can’t believe you are seeing rhododendron buds…that is so exciting. We love going hiking and up on the mountains to see the rhododendron and the mountain laurel. This is such a gorgeous time of the year….and this year it has really come early…goodie goodie. genie
