You’ll find necklaces, earrings, bracelets and ceramic pendants in a range of colors and prices. Perfect for holiday gift giving or for accessorizing your holiday outfits.
This year I am seriously trying to avoid the malls and shop locally or online. I feel so much calmer when I do so. I hate being frazzled in the days leading up to the holidays. Last year was awful in that way and I’ve resolved to approach things differently this year.
I have a show this Saturday. If you are local, I hope you’ll come visit at the Lincoln School Winter Market! I plan to do much of my shopping there and then wrap up the rest online.
This Sunday is my birthday, and as I said in Tuesday’s blog post, that seems like a good enough reason to celebrate with a nice jewelry sale! However, on Tuesday, I said the sale would be for one day only, and I have changed my mind. We’re going to celebrate for 2 days instead!
Use the coupon codeBIRTHDAY2012and get 20% off your order on Saturday Sept. 22 and Sunday Sept. 23! Just my way of saying “Thank You” for all of your wonderful comments on this blog, your support and enthusiasm.
I LOVE Maxine!
A lot of change and growth has occurred jewelry-wise since my last birthday. I feel like I’ve found a design path that feels right for me: color-rich, a bit rustic & a bit whimsical, with a focus on the use of artisan-made pendants and components.
Since my last birthday, I’ve formed valuable online friendships with other jewelry designers, ceramic bead artists, lampwork glass artists and metal smiths. The highlight of this last year was a crazy, impulsive, last-minute decision to fly out to Philadelphia for Bead Fest. I wanted to meet as many of my online friends as possible. It was an amazing weekend that still makes me smile whenever I think about it.
Cheers! Melinda Orr and I at dinner during Bead Fest weekend.
I wonder what the next year holds? I’m looking forward to finding out and I hope you’ll come along for the ride too. I never take my readers, customers or friends for granted. I hope you feel valued and know how special you are to me.
